On April 7th and 8th, elite women personalities of the World gather in Vienna at LeaderSHE International Forum, to debate, in a solutions-driven dialogue, major themes of the day: the aftermath of the economic meltdown - reinventing business models, strategies for sustainable growth and innovation, government-driven solutions for business sustainability, globalization or market expansion. The event is organized by Forum Invest Romania with the special support of Mr. Erhard Busek, former Vice Chancellor of Austria.
Having confirmed her presence at LeaderSHE, Ms. Nahed Taher, founder and CEO of Gulf One Investment Bank, the first woman to lead a bank in Gulf area, states that women are the next trend in the banking industry, currently at historical lows. Ms. Taher says that: “Women leadership will prove to be essential in banking business. Women leaders in banks enhance more productive financing strategies in infrastructure and knowledge based, rather than focusing on overvalued consumption financial instrument, personal debt, and extremely financial fees” .
Ms. Isabel Aguilera, director of INDRA Sistemas Spain (former CEO of GE and Google Spain & Portugal) and one of the 50 Most Influential Executives in the World according to Fortune Magazine, who will also be present in Vienna, says that in slowdown times, women need to become more a reference than ever. ”It is a good momentum to make the necessary thinking on detecting potential efficiencies and to leverage innovation, service and hard work”, added Aguilera.
Barbara Kolm, President of the European Center for Economic Growth – Austria, Tsetska Tsacheva, President of the Bulgarian Parliament, Selma Aliye Kavaf, State Minister for Women and Family Affairs - Turkey, Elisabeth Rehn, the First Woman Minister of Defense in Finland and Presidential Candidate in 2000 are just some of the leading women in the world who have confirmed their participation at LEADER SHE Forum in Vienna.
